Glee – Give Up The Funk MV

The cast of Glee covered the song “Give Up The Funk” in the June 1, 2010 episode, “Funk”. It is a funk song by Parliament. It was released as a single under the name “Tear the Roof off the Sucker (Give Up the Funk)”. It became Parliament’s first certified million-selling single, going Gold in 1976.

New Directions are intimidated by their competition, rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline. To avoid violent retaliation, the group performs “Give up the Funk” to show Vocal Adrenaline that they are not defeated by their bullying.
