Puck (Mark Salling) and Finn (Cory Monteith) of New Directions covered the song “Loser” in the June 1, 2010 episode of Glee, with the title “Funk”. “Loser” is a song by the American alternative rock singer Beck. Although the song was created in 1993, Beck has claimed to have had the idea for the song since the late 1980s.

Puck and Finn get jobs at Sheets-N-Things, working for Terri. Expressing the dissatisfaction in their lives, Puck and Finn perform “Loser” in a dream sequence at the shop.
