“I Dreamed A Dream” is the song featured in the 19th episode of the popular television series Glee (Season 1). The episode is called “Dream On” and it was premiered on the Fox network on May 18, 2010. Rachel Berry and Shelby Corcoran sing “I Dreamed a Dream”, which is taken from the musical Les Misérables. This song was sung by Patti LuPone, who portrayed as Fantine, in the musical. The song had a resurgence in popularity in 2009 when Scottish singer Susan Boyle performed it live as her audition for the third series of the British reality television programme, Britain’s Got Talent.
